Choosing an installation method (Windows)īefore you configure your installation, decide how you want to install the software.

Note Users must have Windows administrator privileges to install FileMaker Pro. To ensure the one you intend is used, put only one license certificate file in the installer folder.

If more than one license certificate file is present in this folder, the installer uses the first valid one it finds. When installing on Windows, the license certificate file must be copied to the same folder as the installer.

Before you install FileMaker Pro, have the license certificate file ready.
